How do we get a flat stomach in 3 stages? Exercise, exercise, and more exercise. When we commit to regular physical workouts, intensive workouts, and interval training, we can get a flat stomach. This is possible because of a situation created known as oxygen debt, which speeds up our metabolism and maximizes our fat burning capacity.
The goal is to build and develop muscles through exercise. The more lean body mass that we have, the more calories are used up as energy from our food intake, as well as from excess body fat, since muscles need more fuel to function.
Regular exercise is always a way to begin and maintain how our body will react to exercise and the results we get from exercise. By keeping a regular schedule, our body will adapt to the exercise program by increasing its metabolic activity to be able to endure the training session.

All these exercises cause the muscles to go into oxygen debt. This means there is more carbon dioxide in the muscles than there is oxygen, which leads to more lactic acid in the muscles. The resulting imbalance now spurs the body to increase its oxygen supply to clear away the lactic acid and help the muscles recover, at the same time, raising metabolism.
Through regular exercise, training with increased intensity during our exercise programs, and incorporating interval training, our body will adapt to the metabolic changes that resulted from the increased training. As a result, the body becomes a very efficient fat burning machine that will give you a flat stomach.
Before we get rid of love handles, perhaps we should define precisely what we mean. Those lumps of fat on your waistline are love handles, they can be a little tricky to remove.
In today’s world most of us are very concerned about the way we look, a bulging waistline is, therefore, unwelcome. If you use exercise and diet to lose weight overall, those unwanted love handles will disappear too.
The most effective exercises to help you to get rid of love handles are oblique crunches and standard crunches. Oblique crunches are normally done with your feet placed firmly on the floor but you can also take this exercise further by raising your feet off the floor. Doing this can have a great impact on your abdominal muscles and has been proven to be very affective for people looking to reduce weight around the waist area.
The exercises that we have mentioned will be central in your mission to get rid of love handles. Not only will your muscles become stronger but your metabolism will increase which will make it easier to burn off fat. Strength training is best carried out on alternate days as your body should be given a day of rest in between sessions. If at any stage you experience pain you need to pause your exercising and fully recover or all your good work may be undone. Go easy, to begin with, with your exercising if you are out of shape.
So far we have discussed exercising that will tone your stomach and waist area, however you need to reduce the fat of your whole body. Walking, running, cycling and going for a swim are great forms of aerobic excercise that should be part of your regime. These exercises can be fun and they work the whole body.
Exercise is not the only thing to consider in order to get and keep a slender waist. You cannot afford to dismiss the importance of diet. If you have love handles it means that you are carrying extra body fat and in order to remove this you need to eat a good healthy diet. Eating the right foods in the right quantities will help you to lose weight, speed up your metabolism, and improve your profile. Your body needs nutrients that only a balanced diet can provide.
