I Want To Loose About 45lbs By A Month Or Two, Any Suggestions?

i’ve heard “rumors” about the acai berry and colon cleanse diets “works”… but i really want to loose about 45 lbs in two months max. im 21 yrs old and weighing about 170, i’ve just had a baby and im a full time student and worker.. does anyone have ANY helpful advice? That would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

You aren’t going to “lose” (not loose) 45lbs in a month or two without surgery or something incredibly unhealthy. Losing that much weight, that quickly would result in very unsightly loose skin and most likely muscle degeneration. And if you set unrealistic goals like that, you are much more likely to quit any diet and fitness plan. Acai berry has no substantiated weight lost research confirming its potency besides some antioxidant properties , and your body cleanses your colon and intestines on a daily basis, there isnt the junk/clutter those products would have you believe in there especially at your age; you can actually damage the healthy bacteria in there if you fiddle with it the wrong way.
The only tried and true method is cutting back caloric intake and increasing consumption of the good slow-digesting carbs, protein and healthy fats. Combined with a weightlifting and high-intensity cardio routine you can expect 1-2lbs of body fat loss per week, putting you at 10-20 lbs less bodyfat in 2 months. Stop trying to take shortcuts because there is no magic pill or technique that will change your body. It took a long time to gain that weight, it takes an equally long time to take it off. Fat loss is about lifestyle changes.
By the way, you want to lose bodyfat, not weight. Bodyweight consists of muscle, fat, water, bone, organs etc. Most of these things you want to keep. Stop using the scale to measure progress as weight can fluctuate as much as 5-10 pounds per day which discourages many people and can kill a diet and fitness routine in no time flat. Find some place that takes body fat measurements.

Hey! I used to weigh 198 lbs and my height is only 5′8″ – for my height and with that kind of weight I’m really obese! I tried the “Master cleanse” and other diet recipes, and I even watched Richard Simmons videos but they didn’t helped me at all!
I tried going to a gym with a strict diet once and within a week later, I stopped going to gym and started eating more than before. It brought me back to where I started again. I am sure you happen to experience it like me.
The strange thing is.. I tried having low fat diet, eating low carbs, starve at times, follow diet programs and so on but it just didn’t help!
I remember one day I was reading those diet magazines and fitness magazines, then there’s an official review on “Strip That Fat” diet with the website displayed.
I visited the website and I was shocked to learn so many things! Things like “Low Calorie Diets do NOT work” and many others!
I was convinced and I decided to try the program – within a month I lost 18.3 lbs!

Give it time. It’ll take about two to three months. Run, cut down your caloric intake, and lay off the acai berry. Diet and exercise is key. and this is not a diet, but a lifestyle. Start cutting back here and there and the pounds will come off and stay off. Don’t go to extremes or you’re just going to give yourself tons of frustration (and weight gain) in the end.
