Is It Extremely Dangerous To Lose 8lb Within 5 Days?

I just started my acai berry and colon cleanser diet with a 1500 calorie diet and I went from not doing nothing at all to exercising (lightly) daily. Now I know I made a dramatic change but still in all do you guys think this is ok?

Losing 8 lbs in 5 days is dangerous.
But what you’re doing sounds fine for the 1500 calorie diet, not too sure about the Acai berry and colon cleanser part though.
Keep in mind, weigh yourself at the same time everyday. For better “results”, weigh yourself in the morning, so you’re consistent.

you should never lower your calorie intake dramatically, first off. i don’t know what your intake was previously but if you skimmed off 500 your body will have trouble adapting when/if you return to a higher calorie intake diet.
there is nothing wrong with losing that much in 5 days. i have, except when i cut out carbs and exercise frequently. everyone is different, and will react differently to dieting. depending on how much of your bmi is actual fat, it depends on how much longer your weight losing will be healthy. if you are heavier, you should still trouble pounds relativiely quickly. if you are thinner, then it should ease off, even next week.

You did make a dramatic change, so your body will respond. 1500 calories and light exercise is perfectly healthy. Most of the weight is probably water weight anyways. Since you are on a healthy regimen, it is acceptable. You will also slow down in your weight loss as time goes on because you will adapt, and will find yourself wanting to increase your exercise.

thats perfectly safe becuase your loosing the weight mostly in the form of water. if you do nothing then workout and diet you will lose a lot of weight at first then slowly lose less and less, then you need to work harder. I would also reccomend green tea and muscle milk with the acai berry, all are very healthy.

The most weight you can lose is 1/2 lbs per 24 hours.
any additional weight is water loss, dehydration. and yes that is dangerous. You can certainly lose this much “weight” but it won’t be fat. If you try be sure to rehydrate with “Gater aid or a similar drink to replace your electrolytes.

well most people gain anywhere around 5 to 7 pound of extra waste a day .
so you could have lost that ,
but if not then it just means your diet is working .

its not extremely dangerous but it is that good for you. my health teacher said its normal to lose only 1 or 2 pounds a week.
