The perception of a typical man is that you gain weight if you overeat. Scientific research has busted this myth. Ask any nourishment expert or practicing doctor and you’ll find out that overeating is not in charge of being obese. The wrong dieting habits should be blamed instead. To lose the additional weight that you have put on, you will need to improve your food habits and at the same time make sure that you do a lot of exercise. So here are four great tips to enhance your overall eating patterns.
Start your day by eating a healthy breakfast. It’s a common myth that if you want to lose weight, you need to start by skipping a meal or 2 once in a while. Most of the people have a tendency to skip their breakfast as it is awfully handy to do so in the morning rush. The fact is that as you aren’t eating breakfast, your body remains in a kind of energy conservation mode in which it is put in by your intellect while you are sleeping. This involves a lot of fat buildup. Having breakfast regularly ensures that no such thing happens and your body comes out of its energy saving mode extraordinarily fast.
2nd important thing is to drink a lot of water. Water is a bare prerequisite of life, 2nd only to the need to breathe and is followed by food. Drinking a lot of water helps you maintain a proper body temperature and also ensures that your metabolism remains active to its full capacity. In addition to this, if you drink lot of water and at regular intervals, it causes you to urinate time and again and thus cleans various toxins from your body. Finally, drinking a lot of water keeps you full and thus mars the need of gluttony.
Another critical eating habit that you must inculcate to shed weight is to lose weight is to include a your diet. There are two major advantages of eating a fiber rich diet. The first benefit is that the body takes a little longer to digest fiber. This means that fiber has a tendency to keep you full for a long time. As a result, you won’t have a tendency to binge. This property of fiber is particularly beneficial for those who are habitual to frequent eating. Second , fiber also helps soak up the extra cholesterol from the body. So, your body is able to generate more energy. This excessive energy can be used for exercising which will help you lose weight.
Finally, make sure that your belly doesn’t remain empty by taking small meals at little intervals. This is critical to avoid overeating which can result in extra pounds.. Your ‘in between’ meals should include only little nibbles and fresh fruits.
Remember eat correctly and you will shed weight, eat less and you will fall ill.

I have my prom in roughly 7 months, and I have found THE dress that I just have to wear. The only problem is that they only make it in one size, UK size 10. And I am a UK size 14.
I eat pretty healthily, I go swimming once a week, cheerleading twice a week and walk EVERYWHERE, yet I stay the same weight.
I’m asking this 7 months in advance because I don’t want to do one of those fad diets and mess up my metabolism, I want weight loss that will stick.
Any suggestions on what I can do to drop a couple of clothes sizes?
And please, none of the Acai berry junk, I tried it and it was a complete waste of money!
Thanks in advance

Ok, so I’ve been struggling with my weight for years and nothing seems to work. Not diets, not exercise, nothing. So, I was watching oprah and I heard Dr. Oz talking about Acai berries. So, I ordered a free trial of Acai Burn and Life Cleanser(which flushes your colon of any toxins and stuff) in the hope of maybe shedding some pounds. I’m skeptical when it comes to things like this but it’s my last option and I’m desperate. Would it be safe to try them without consulting with a physician first? What are your opinions? What should I do?Please help!

Im exercising loads but its not working, I swim Monday (100 lengths usually minimum in 50 Min’s, usually swim for 2 hours), Tuesday (100 lengths minimum in and swim for 90Min’s) Friday (100 lengths in 60 Min’s) I go to the gym on wednesdays and do a round of weights and cardio, rower, treadmill and sometimes bike. On a thursday i do rugby training for 90 Min’s which is very demanding.
Now i been doing this for months (since March 2009) and i have lost about 1 stone and now i seem to not be loosing any more fat, My arms are getting muscular but there is still fat on them, My belly probably has 2 or 3 inches of fat on it still which ain’t going anywhere fast (lost 2 inches maximum).
I really want to have a good muscle and toned body but its not happening,
I know my diet is poor as i have a massive food phobia. (cant eat fruit, veg, pasta, rice, anything on a bone((can eat if previously removed)) don’t like soups) Im currently on the long wait for psychologist to try and help sort this problem out.
Please can someone help me as my local nurse was no use and my doctor says he wants my food phobia sorted 1st.
I was thinking of taking protein powder for my muscles but what about other things.
I read acai berries help your body become more healthy and a healthy body results in a better mood which can help you be more positive which im not. (im not looking for the ultra miracle cure just the help and guidance to make it)

someone please help me i’m starting to feel depressed. Does anyone know if that acai berry, slimfast, slim quick or any of those lose weight things work. I recently stopped breastfeeding and am quickly gaining more weight. I do not have much time at all to exercise and have a 1 year old son. I am trying to get back to 130-135 lbs and i am currently 147. Can anyone give me ideas of what I can do besides exercise everyday. Can anyone share their experience with weight lose drinks, pills or shakes. What about green tea or any diets that work. Thank you in advance

I want to lose around 20 – 30 pounds in about 2 months ( give or take a few weeks ) I am short, 5′5 and weigh around 135 lbs. I have a treadmill, weight bench, the ab rocket and the home gym. I already have all of the healthy foods in my house. What are some work out routines that I can do that can burn the most calories without taking so much time? What are some diet plans? What can help me keep my motivation? And just in general how to lose the weight to get to my goal?
~~~ Much appreciate! Thanks to all who answer!!!
………… please no colon cleanser or acai berry advertisements, that would not help at all……..
I’m not fat, but I do have some body fat. I want to get some six pack abs or just a flat stomach in 6 weeks (before summer). I don’t want to diet. (Although i promise to cut down on junk food) And I don’t want to use any weights, because it can stun growth. I just want a flatter stomach basically. I have a BMI of 18.4, which is “healthy weight” but i want to get it lower. (I still technically count as a kid so 18.4, is about 34th percentile.)
So, any workout plans? I prefer not to run, because of time issues.
Thanks so much.
AND NO STUPID DRUGS, like “acai berry, omg it worked out so well for me” weird advertisers….
