I am eating between 1200 and 1300 calories per day. I mainly eat chicken, fruit, vegetables, and oatmeal. I try not to eat sugar. I work out 3-4 times a week for an hour. During this time I do 45 minutes of aerobic exercise and 15 of anaerobic exercise.
Any ideas?

If I:
- stop eating junk food, fried food, and snacks that are high in fat and calories
- start walking 45 min a day
- stop drinking high calorie fruit juices and soft drinks
- start eating vegetables and fruits
- start drinking 10 glasses of water a day
- hula hoop 10 min a day.
How much weight will I lose in about a week?
Don’t give me ideas to use pills or acai berry and don’t ask me to exercise, because I can’t. Also, don’t give me websites.
I want to lose about 20 lbs in a month if that is possible.
Feel free to give any other advice about dieting.

I need to lose 20 lbs
I’m 27 yrs old and currently weigh 148 lbs, I’m 5′3 and have been carrying post baby fat in my gut and arms for 3 yrs…..I’m not sure how many calories a day I have been consuming to maintain being 20 lbs overweight But, I assume a lot.
6 days ago I went on a strict diet of very healthy foods, no alcohol, and have tried to fit in light excersise each day …..I’m not consuming more then 1250 calories a day and i journal everything i eat ….?
is this okay to shed the pounds will i see results or could i go about a better way ………….
And absolutely NOT, i wont take any diet pills or that new berry fade Acai or whatever ! I want this done the good old fashioned way
????

I need to know the least amount of time it would take to lose 20 pounds! I know about acai berry and green tea so please nothing like that and nothing suggesting diets, I just need to know in how short of time possible I can lose 20 pounds. Thxx!

Is it just me or does anyone else get COMPLETELY TICKED OFF when you ask a simple question having to do with health, diet or fitness and you get a barrage of “answers” trying to get you to try the latest weight loss gimmick? In particular that ACAI BERRY crap! Isn’t there some sort of rule on Yahoo Answers against people soliciting???? These people are worse than AMWAY consultants trying to sign you up! I’m really “P.O.’d” about this! I’ve reported them before but they’re still there!

i am 14 yrsold and my height is 5 5. i started my diet and excerise thing about 2 weeks and ive lost 6 lbs? is that a godd weight loss rate? my beggiining weight was 195 lbs and now i weight 187. i want to get down to 135-140 lbs by my sophmore year which is in september… tips? no advertisments like acai berry or crap like that… thanks in advance. 10POINTS BEST ANSWER!!!!!!

I’ve been counting calories with the loose it application on my ipod. i’ve been maintaining a 1.200 calorie a day intake for about 2 weeks & working out (moderately… because i’m trying to ease into it) about 3-5 times a week (mostly doing aerobic dvds at home)
i realllllly want to be skinny skinny, but i don’t feel like i’m on my way.
I’ve used supplements (acai berry appetite suppressors, sunflower oil suppressors, green tea metabolism lifters, etc.) but my problem isn’t that i’m always hungry, it’s that i just can’t seem to lose the weight.
i’m worried that since i’m not SO heavy that i don’t have SO much extra weight, that it’ll be difficult to do this.
has ANYONE had any success with ANY diet (pill, supplement, meal plan, anything!!!)
HELP PLEASE!!!

So first of all, I’m a female and i’m 13 years old.
I’m taking a tablet thing called ‘Acai berry’.
It’s supposed to help you loose weight and give you a lot of energy.
But also I’m doing things every day like;
100 sit ups
100 crunches
100 leg ups- left and right leg
100 weight lifts- left and right arm
50 squat thrusts
ETC…
(some things i’m doing I wouldn’t know what to call them)
And i’m also running for a half an hour every day.
On week days I have school so this is how my diet goes;
I get up and leave at about 7:15, and that’s usually when I eat.
I only usually eat a cup of yogurt with 100-110 calories, but some times I eat different breakfasts like 2 eggs with plain toast or something.
then I don’t eat all school and I get home at about 3:40 and I eat then. usually just a sand which and an apple with some other type of healthy snack.
Then I eat dinner about 6:00.
( I just eat whatever my mom or dad makes)
But on the weekends my diet goes like this;
I get up about 10:00, and I eat breakfast
Which is usually two eggs with hash browns and ham.
Then I eat lunch at about 2:00 which is usually a sandwhich with two things on the side.
Then I have dinner at about 6:00 which I just eat whatever my mom or dad makes.
All I drink during the day is water out of the bottle, and usually 1 glass of 1% milk (about 2 cups) with dinner.
And I don’t eat more than 1,500 calories a day.
(I keep track of that)
So I was just wondering if i’m going to loose weight like this?
What should I do differently?

I am taking this acai berry juice stuff every morning.
& I take a colon cleanse.
Those are just to help me cleanse my body & boost my metabolism.
Also, I will be walking/jogging daily & exercising at home.
& I will start eating healthier.
But, I have a huge issue with STICKING to my diet.
I always cheat on my diet.
& then I make up excuses like “well, I’ll jog TOMORROW.”
or “I’m only going to eat this one slice of cake today. then tomorrow I’ll stick to my diet.”
But when tomorrow comes, I make up another excuse!
So, how can I stay motivated & not cheat on my diet?
I don’t need to lose a HECK of a lot of weight.
But, I do need to get into better shape & get toned.
I’d like to come back next school year with a better self esteem level for my body.
So, give me any tips, advice, exercises you do at home, etc.
